Mrs. Vest was born December 12, 1942, in Morgan County to James Monroe Robinson and Beatrice Christine Scott Robinson. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, friend, storyteller, cook and writer, who passed away on Sunday Morning, the 11th day of August.

Anne meant so much to so many, wearing a variety of hats during her time on Earth. She was generous with her time and energy and was willing to lend a helping hand from sewing band uniforms to fundraising for various organizations at school. Anne loved her family dearly. She spent countless hours in the kitchen crafting perfect biscuits and creating delicious desserts. “Grandmother” also spent numerous hours, working late into the night, to repair the love worn stuffed animals of her distraught grandchildren. She was a member of Danville Baptist Church was loved by all who knew her. Anne’s most enduring legacy maybe that of educator. She taught for over 20 years, fostering the growth of her community’s future generations. A loving mother, a doting grandmother, a devoted wife, she touched the lives of so many. She will be truly missed.
