Anne Hazelwood, age 68, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, April 09, 2015 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of McNairy County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Sonset Fellowship Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Freddie Milsaps Whitley; one sister, Maggie Pearl Whitley; and five brothers, J. L. Whitley, Kenneth Whitley, James Wilbanks, Johnny Wilbanks, and Jesse Lee Wilbanks.

She is survived by

Husband –
William “Bill” Hazelwood, Lawrenceburg, TN

Four Daughters –
Leanne Creekmore (Ralph), Lawrenceburg, TN
Billie Daniel (Mark), Lawrenceburg, TN
Sherry Matney (Pete), MO
Pam (Ted), MO

Three Sons –
Teddy Hazelwood (Joy), Murfreesboro, TN
Michael Hazelwood (Janice), OK
Matthew Hazelwood , OK

One Brother –
Robert Whitley, Henderson, TN

Twenty Grandchildren
Several Great-Grandchildren

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 12, 2015, with Grant Pavy and Larry Hammonds officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.

Mrs hazzelwood was one of the nicest ladies I ever met..I grew up with her son teddy (he was one of my best friends growing up)…the last time I saw her she was in a grocery store in lawrenceburg..I had not saw her in years but she knew who I was and was just as nice to me as she was when I was a kid..I know I will see her again in heaven
