Anna Paulette Balentine Hairell, 77 of Florence, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Florence with the funeral service following in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Larry Wright and Rev. E.M. “Doc” Shell will officiate the service. The burial will follow in Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery.
Anna was a Florence native. After a short time in banking, she chose to be a homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She was well loved by her family and the Cloverdale Community, in which she was extensively involved through Cloverdale Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Kay Shope and her husband, Doug, Beth Ann Dillion and her husband, Brent, and Mark Justin Hairell and his wife, Sarah; her brother, John Balentine; and her grandchildren, Lindsay Shope, Luke Shope, Levi Shope, Anna Kline Dillion, Lane Dillion, and John Mark Hairell.
Pallbearers will be Mark Hairell, Doug Shope, Brent Dillion, Luke Shope, Levi Shope, and Lane Dillion.

Our family was blessed to have had a mother who covered us all in prayer and constantly sought after Christ Jesus, and we are grateful for the example of her faith. She left a legacy of love and service that led us on the path of following Jesus.
