Ms. Hinsey was born in Limestone County to Lonnie and Verna Goodin Pack on September 23, 1946. She graduated from West Limestone High School in 1964.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa Thornton; grandson Jeremy Libert; nieces Charlene Greer, Tina Rich, Debbie Reels and Melissa Brown; aunt Elizabeth Williams; great nieces and nephew; a host of cousins, as well as numerous friends she made throughout her life.
Preceded in death by her parents; son George Michael Thornton; sister Judy Burrell; brother Lonnie Pack.
Ms. Hinsey was known for her signature blond hair and love for fine fashions. She loved to sew and had a deep affection for her family.
Visitation will be held at McConnell Funeral Home on Friday, May 17th, 2024 from 5-7 pm. Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, May 18th at 1 p.m. McConnell Funeral Home, burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
