Mrs. Anna Louise Thornton, age 91, passed away March 4, 2016. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Thornton was born Oct. 2, 1924 in Memphis, Tennessee, to John R. Rother and Anna Flowers Rother.
Survivors include her son, Steven Lowell Thornton; daughter, Judith Robin T. Stewart; five granddaughters, Rachel Louise Stewart, Molly Rebecca Stewart, Hannah Elizabeth Stewart, Cary Josephine Thornton, and Stephanie Louise Thornton; sister, Sue Landrum Rother; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
