Anna Gooding age 84, of Mt. Dora, Florida, passed from this earth to heaven on February 3, 2022.
Born April 23, 1937, along with her twin Edna Phipps Tipton, in Hazel Green, AL.
She is survived by her son Michael Gooding of Elora, TN, daughter Tonya Crane (Bernie) of Crystal River, FL, and son Jeffrey Gooding of Waynesboro, TN, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She is survived by her twin, Edna Phipps Tipton of Fayetteville, TN, and multiple nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dean Gooding of Kansas; Parents James and Etha Bilbrey Phipps of Alabama; brother Therman Phipps of Michigan; Clarcie Phipps Elders of Alabama; Laura Phipps Hilsabeck of Washington; Elmer Phipps of Alabama; Lorene Phipps Canada of Alabama; Loyce Phipps Miller of Michigan; Mayzell Phipps Cork of Tennessee; Estelle Phipps Lee of Florida; Denny Phipps of Texas.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 5:00 -7:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 11:00 AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Lones officiating. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
