Anna Faye Nethery Hughes, 86 of Gardendale, passed away Tuesday Oct. 4, 2022.
She attended Gardendale Church of the Nazarene. She was retired from Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Hughes; son, Mark Roberts; daughter, Judith Ann Roberts; grandsons, Robbie and Adam Roberts; brothers, W.D. and Jimmy Nethery and sister, Sharon Nethery.
Survivors include her children, Ron Roberts, Durwood Roberts and Madison Roberts; grandchildren, Cheri Jarvis and David and Daniel Roberts; seven great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; siblings, Auburn Nethery, Nell Aldridge, Harold, Terry and Dennis Nethery and Keith Plylar; several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday October 7, 22 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. John Parrish will officiate. Burial will follow at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery. Visitation is Friday 10-11 am in the chapel.
