She was born in Winston County on Friday, March 25, 1960 to Athel and Nina Mae Godsey. Service was 3 p.m. Monday, June 03, 2013 at Friendship Baptist Church. Officiating Bro. Kurt Cagle.Burial in Friendship Cemetery . She was preceded in death by her parents,Athel and Nina Mae Godsey; brother James Caroll Godsey. She leaves her children, Brian Nicolas Vann and Nina Desiree’ Godsey; grandson, Nicholos Vann; Sisters, Carolyn Godsey, Barbara Godsey Borden and Cathy Godsey Whitman.
