Mrs. Anna Christine Rubley Panter, age 74, a McMinnville resident and Grundy County native was born August 24, 1945 and died April 12, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lena Pearl Thompson Rubley. Inaddition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers Charles, Bill, John, Jack, and David Rubley. She was a member of the church of Christ, enjoyed watching game shows and talking with neighbors over the phone, and loved to cook.
She was married February 12, 1966 to Gary Panter of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son Todd Panter of McMinnville, two brothers and sisters-in-law Ernest and Dean Rubley and James and Lorie Rubley all of McMinnville, sisters-in-law Mary Rubley of McMinnville, Marilyn Rubley of Indiana, and Pat Rubley of Michigan, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service and interment is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 16, 2021 Center Hill Cemetery. Ricky Magness and Donald Jones will officiate. Friends will meet the family at the cemetery on Friday.
