Ann McCormack Reddick Profile PhotoAnn McCormack Reddick, 91, of Columbia, TN, passed away on January 7, 2024. She was born on June 30, 1932, in Nashville, TN, to the late William C. and Eula Bell Smith McCormack. Ann was a devoted Christian who found her calling in life by helping others. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and a loyal friend. Family was the most important thing to her, and she cherished the time spent with her loved ones.

Ann is survived by her only child, Catherine Reddick Henris (Bill), and her grandchildren, Nathan Henris (Falcon Rivera) and Mary-Margaret Henris Flatt (Grant). She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse of 50 years, Lenord Merlin Reddick, her mother, father, sister Mary Seat (Cabot), sister Ruby Eurton (Forrest), sister Roxy Pullum (Orville), brother J W McCormack (Charlene Parker), and brother Thomas McCormack (Sara Skinner).

The McCormack family moved often since her dad worked for the Government so she attended many schools but graduated from Lebanon High School where she was Homecoming Queen and a cheerleader. She furthered her education at Auburn University. Ann pursued a fulfilling career as a Pharmacist, dedicating years of service at Vanderbilt Hospital, Birmingham Baptist, Erlanger Hospital, and Maury Regional Hospital, where she retired after 45 years.

Ann was a member of First Family, where she taught 2nd grade Sunday School for many years and also served on the food service and decorating committee. Her faith played a significant role in her life, and she found solace and guidance through her religious community.

In her free time, Ann enjoyed cooking, sewing, and caring for others. Her love for animals was evident as she always had a loyal companion by her side.

Funeral services for Ann Reddick will be conducted Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Rick Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kind heart, unwavering faith, and dedication to her family and community will be remembered and cherished.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her very devoted neighbors Mike and Peggy Hensley, the staff at the Bridge and Compassus Hospice for their love and support during this difficult time.
