Ann Herron, age 82, of Dora, passed away on July 11, 2024. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2024, at 11 AM from New Horizon Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in West Jefferson Freewill Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Hazel Winkler and brothers Robert Winkler and Roger Winkler.
Ann is survived by her husband of almost 65 years Alvin Herron; sister Sue Dill; son Ricky (Angela Pruden) Herron, daughters Connie (Dwight) Brasfield, Tracy (James “Peanut”) Nix and Nathalie Herron, grandchildren Bryon (Channing) Herron, Chad (Ashly) Herron, Candy (Ryan) Allred, Tyler (Kelli) Orr and four beautiful great-grandsons.
Ann loved caring for her family and loved to cook, especially her famous biscuits.
