Ann Harris of Prospect departed this life on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Ivy Crest Long Term Care Facility. She was born in Montgomery County, Tennessee on October 21, 1922 and was 92 years old.
She was a graduate of Draughon’s Business College. She retired from AVEX Electronics in Nashville, Tennessee. Upon moving to Pulaski, volunteered at Hillside Hospital and Giles County Help Center. She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 26th from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in Pulaski, Tennessee
Graveside Service and burial will follow on Monday, April 27th at 3:30pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.
Memorial donations are suggested to Giles County Help Center, 314 N. First Street, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hunter Choate Harris, parents, William Batson and Esther Harper Harris, sister, Lillian Thomas Harris Pollard and brothers, Foard Manning Harris, Robert Batson Harris and James Howard Harris.
She is survived by her,
daughter, Kathleen Harris (John) Norman of Prospect
son, Hunter C. Harris, Jr. of Colorado
5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many friends.
