Funeral service for Ann Garrett, 80, will be Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Tharptown Cemetery in Russellville, Alabama. Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Ms. Garrett passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Decatur Health & Rehab Center. She was born September 20, 1943, in Lawrence County, to George John Letson and Bessie Beatrice Callahan Letson.
She was a Methodist in her faith and enjoyed attending church. She loved to help other and did so by working with Community Action as a Sitter and in her earlier days was a Waitress.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Melvin Garrett, a son, Joey Redding, a daughter, Lisa McRenolds, her parents, two brothers, George John Letson, Jr. and Jerry Wayne Letson and a sister, Shirley Faye Myers.

Brother – Standley Letson
Two Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Brock Boyd, Mike Boyd, Hunter Aldridge and Chase White.
