Ann Davies McFall, age 89, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015. Ann was a native of Florence, Alabama. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She was an avid bridge player, through which she made many lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Davies of 35 years and her husband, Fred McFall of nine years, two sisters, and three brothers. Ann is survived by her daughter, Karen Franks (David), of Birmingham, Alabama; sons, James Davies (Xinia), of Dallas, Texas, and Jon Davies (Gina), of Birmingham, Alabama. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kellie Stewart (Scott), Justin Davies (Maria), Adam Davies, Lauren Davies and Savannah Davies; great-grandchildren, Connor, Ann Allen, and S.J. Stewart; two stepsons; six stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, March 22. The funeral will follow visitation at Jefferson Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. David Farry is officiating.
