  Ann Pitts Profile PhotoMrs. Ann Curtis Pitts, age 92, of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on March 9, 2024, at NHC in Columbia, Tennessee.

Ann was born on May 14, 1931, to the late WR and Evelyn Curtis in Summertown, Tennessee.

Ann was married to William Pitts for 53 years before he preceded her in death on May 22, 2009. Mrs. Pitts was a very special homemaker with a passion in her life for her family. A lady of deep faith, Ann was a member of The Tabernacle Church in Summertown.

Ann is survived by her son: Ricky William Pitts of Summertown; daughter: Sheila Ann (Jerry) Hooper of Mount Pleasant; Son: Ronald (Belinda) Melvin Pitts; grandchildren: Jerry Lee Hooper, Kaleb (Bailey) Pitts, and Cody Pitts; granddaughter: Madison Pitts; greatgranddaughters: Aria and Ayla; and a host of several nieces and nephews.

Ann was a Lawrence County native and one oldest of eleven children born. Her siblings include: Louise Ambrose (Bobby), Mary Lovell, Jack Curtis (Sandy), Lois Giles, Jean Giles (Bobby), Kathy West (Terry).

Ann is preceded in death siblings: by Rubert Theorn, Dave Curtis (Rubyneil), Bob Curtis (Rebecca), Larry Curtis (Debbie); and brother in law: Vernon Giles.

Visitation will be conducted Friday, March 15, 2024 at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service for Ann will be on Saturday, 16, 2024 at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ricky Pitts and Cpdy Pitts speaking. Ann will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Lee Hooper, Kaleb Marshall Pitts, Cody Pitts, Michael Curtis, Kasey Ambrose, Harrison Gobble, and Hudson Knoig.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Gobble, Adam Knoig, Mark Curtis, Hal Curtis, Timmy and Terry Darnell, Kevin Ambrose, Jeff, Jake, and John Harris.

The family would like to give a special thanks to NHC, Dr. Ball, Nurses and Techs, and Hospice Compassus.
