Ann Colleen Cupples Moore, age 85, passed away December 1, 2022, at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation.
She was born April 6, 1937, in Chester County, the daughter of the late Rassie Herbert and Lela Mae Wyatt Cupples. She grew up in the Montezuma Community and attended Chester County Schools.
She worked at Salant & Salant Mfg. for a few years, and then was a homemaker until her son was a teenager. She then began working as a CNA for Chester County Nursing Home for fourteen years retiring in 1995. She was a Methodist in belief.
She enjoyed playing softball in her youth, and riding horses.
Mrs. Moore is survived by a son, Tim Moore and wife Cheryl of Henderson, a grandson, Timothy Nathan Moore (Sarah) and a great granddaughter, Luella Moore; three step grandchildren, Ashley Moore, Alysen Fillingim, and Paige Austin; and two step greatgrandchildren, Katori and Anna Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bonnie Willard Cupples and Randy Lynn Cupples and a sister, Dorothy Hazel Muse.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, December 4th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel. Burial will follow in Haltoms Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main Chapel 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday.
