Baugh, Ann Bates of Rogersville passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on June 06, 2024. Loving wife of Richard Hugh for over 62 years. Beloved mother of Adele (John) Bayley of White Lake Michigan, Steven (Denise) of Broomfield Colorado, and James of Florence Alabama. Ann was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1943, daughter to Earnest “Frank” and Jean Bates. Ann was a loving grandmother to Austin, Evan, and Aron. Ann was a gifted artist and painter who specialized in water colors. She was a loyal friend, a devoted animal lover, and she loved nature and walks in the woods. Ann was known for her generosity, her bright smile, and she always put the needs of others before her own. Ann lived her faith; she was an active member and elder of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Rogersville, she dearly loved her church family. While we will miss the sound of your voice, you will always be near us as you will live on forever in our hearts.
Ann was predeceased by her son Steven in 2019.
A memorial service will be held June 13, 2024 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 6:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 5:30-6:00 p.m.
