Anita May Mandeville, 94, of Huntsville, passed away Friday at Huntsville Hospital. Anita was born in Watertown, NY, grew up in California and lived in Huntsville for the past 28 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Jean Cooke, sister Dorothy Cooke and husband John Mandeville.
She is survived by her son, Nick Van Valkenburgh of Huntsville; daughter, Sharon Alosi of Rustburg VA; nephew, Larry Johnson of Palm Springs CA; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be held at a later date in California.
