Anita Keef Shirley, age 72 of Valley Head, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023. She was born on October 16, 1951 in Fort Payne to the late Charles & Verdie Ree Plemmons Keef.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children, Dawn & Jason McCord, and Brandi & Farley Green; sister, Monia Smith; grandchildren, Luke (Kelsey) Posey, Jessica (Alex) Parham, Will Green, and Baylee Green; great-grandchildren, Kase Parham, Finley Parham and Ridge Posey; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Shirley; daughter, Nichole Shirley; and parents.
