Anita Jane Cosby, 85, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021. Anita was a graduate of Lauderdale County High School and a member of Rogersville Church of Christ.
Visitation for Mrs. Cosby will be Sunday, May 16th from 2-3 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home with the funeral service following in the chapel at 3. Burial will be held in Civitan Cemetery. Alex Bayes will be officiating. Joey Grisham, Ronny Morton, Gary Mauldin, Jason Stark and Matthew Soukup will serve as pallbearers.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Alin and Voncile Nesmith. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Cosby; daughters, Regina (Ronny) Morton, Nina (Gary) Mauldin, Anita Cosby (Joey); grandchildren, Jason Stark and Rachel (Matthew) Soukup; great-grandchildren, Lilyana and Emery; brother, Harold Nesmith; numerous nieces and nephews; step-grandchildren, Laura (David) Cloud; step-great-grandchildren, Lena and Ella; and her cousin June.
