Anita Elnora Schrimsher Pack Gooch age 80, passed away in her home October 23, 2013. Anita was born November 8, 1932 in Athens, Alabama. She was the daughter of Jeff H. Schrimsher and Mary Lucille Pepper Schrimsher. Anita lived most of her life in Athens, a longtime employee and retiree of the Athens Lingerie Company a division of the Kaiser Roth manufacturing company.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Gooch are Friday, October 25, 2013 at Limestone Memorial Gardens at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Dorning officiating.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband James Oscar (Bud) Pack. Her second husband Calvin Gooch, Also one brother Aaron Willis Schrimsher.
She is survived by her children Judy Elaine Pack Hancock and her husband Al of Decatur and Hershel C. Pack and his wife Beverly of Athens; two grandsons Luke Jefferson Pack and his wife Sara of Sheffield and Joshua James Pack of Athens; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Rudolph Walls Schrimsher of Decatur and Ralph Hugo “Buddy” Schrimsher of Elizabethtown KY; one sister Lorretta Faye Warner of Athens.
