Angelyn MartinAngelyn (“Angie”) Lovett Martin, age 87, died Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg.

Born in Maury County, Tennessee, on April 6, 1936, she was the daughter of William E. and Evie Hargrove Lovett. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Westvue Church of Christ where she taught a Sunday School class for many years. She was known for the baby quilts she loved to make and give as gifts. She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Valton Martin; brothers, Leonard Lovett, Ellis Lovett, and Louis Lovett; sisters Madelene Brown, Violet Miller, and Martha Osborne; great-granddaughter, Megan McNutt.

She is survived by daughters, Glenda Kraft (Lee) of Nashville, Karen McNutt (Chris) and Gail Martin of Lewisburg; sons, Keith Martin (Tracy) of Belfast, and Kyle Martin (Tracy) of Shelbyville; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sisters. June Bills and Shirley Rankin (Charles) of Columbia.

Graveside Service will be conducted on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Bethlehem Cemetery, 3347 Franklin Pike, Lewisburg, TN 37091, with burial to follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 1:30 pm until 2:00 pm at the cemetery.
