Angela Marie Camp, age 42, of Horton, passed away on December 17, 2024, at Marshall Medical Center South. Angela was born on April 9, 1982, to Phillip and Belinda Murphree. She faced a courageous battle with breast cancer and fought valiantly until the end.
Angela is preceded in death by her beloved son, Kyle David Camp; her father-in-law, David Camp; and her cherished grandparents. She leaves behind her loving husband, Jason David Camp; her daughters, Kayla Marie Camp (Jacob Dobbins) and Carlie Ann Camp; and her precious grandson, Walker David Dobbins. Angela is also survived by her devoted parents, Phillip and Belinda Murphree; her mother-in-law, Nelda Camp; her brothers, Chris Pettus (Stacy Pettus) and Edward Pettus (Sarah Pettus); her sister, Jenna Murphree Giles (Aaron Giles); and several nieces and nephews who will dearly miss her.
A funeral service to honor Angela’s life will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Bro. Jamie Brothers officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Angela will be laid to rest at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers to guide Angela to her final resting place are Sherman Leeth, Toni Bernard, Brad Oliver, Martin Killion, Buddy Sweat, and Tommy Lee.
Angela was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be remembered for her unwavering strength, her love for her family, and her kind and generous spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
