Angela Gail Ray Kennamore, 62, passed away following a brief illness on Thursday, March 16, 2023 in the comfort of her home.

Services honoring the life of Ms. Kennamore will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 12 Noon in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21 from 5PM until 8PM and Wednesday from 9AM until time of service.  Burial will follow in the Marlow Church of Christ Cemetery in Walnut.

Born June 28, 1960, she was the daughter of the late David and Margaret Abby Ray.  She received her education from the Ashland public school district and was owner and operator of Happy Kids Daycare in Ripley for many years as long as her health allowed.

A Christian, Ms. Kennamore lived a life with the belief that family is where life begins and love never ends.  She was a faithful member of West Ripley Church of Christ and taught her children and grandchildren to love the Lord.  She was never hesitant to help someone in need and always had a shoulder to lean on.

Known by her grandchildren as Nanny Gail, she will always be remembered for her bubbly personality, decorating abilities, her delicious dressing and salmon patties.

Those left to cherish her memories include one daughter, Lisa Maroney (Joshua) of Ripley, one son, Ricky Kennamore Jr. of Ripley, five grandchildren, Blake and Madison Maroney, Paxton, Maddox, and Lennox Kennamore.  Along with her parents, she was preceded by two brothers, Billy and Wayne Ray.

RIpley Funeral Home invites you to share memories with the family.
