Angel Parroquin Garcia, 56, of Florence, Alabama passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024. A private graveside service will be held at Greenview Memorial Park on Sunday, November 3rd at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 2nd from 12:00 pm-6:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Florence, Alabama. A celebration of life service will also be held at the funeral home, on Sunday Nov. 3rd at 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted by Marion Pettus. Williams Funeral Home will assist the family during this time.
Mr. Angel Parroquin was preceded in death by his father, Juventino Parroquin Morales, by his brother, Antonio Parroquin Garcia. He was also preceded in death by both of his paternal and maternal grandparents: Margarito Parroquin Medina, Maria Morales Hernandez, Maximino Garcia and Leonor Rodriguez Valenzuela, respectively.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Parroquin; his children, Arasy Alejandra Parroquin Uscanga, Angel Parroquin, Antonio Parroquin; 8 stepchildren, Efigenia Guadalupe Velazquez, Maria de Jesus Perez, Abel Velazquez, Fredy Velazquez, Blanca Sifuentes, Jared Velazquez, Jimmy Limon, Johnny Limon; 4 grandkids, Doris Arasy Rodriguez Parroquin, Kimberly Parroquin, Ariel Camila Cuevas, and Ocean Azul Parroquin.
In addition, he is survived by his mother Trinidad Garcia Rodriguez, his four brothers Norberto, Juventino, and Andres Parroquin Garcia, and Miguel Bautista Garcia, his three sisters Veronica, Laura, and Mirian Parroquin Miranda, his uncles Angel and Norberto Parroquin Morales and 21 nieces and nephews.15 step-grandkids, and 6 step-great grandkids, and many other extended family members.
Angel Parroquin Garcia was born in Otatitlan, Oaxaca on June 30, 1968. He grew up in Veracruz, Mexico where he graduated from high school. He moved to Southern California in 1989, where he learned several trades in Southern California. He was a residential construction contractor and was a small business owner.
