Angel Diane Roper Wallace, age 69 of Gardendale, passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 30, 2020. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Moss Service Funeral Home on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Village Falls Cemetery in Mulga, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Moss Service Funeral Home directing. Although Diane was unable to have children of her own, she was surrounded by her step children, nieces and nephews that filled that love in her heart. She was known as a bargain shopper and enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift stores. She loved her faithful companions Hazel and Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Roper; mother and stepfather, Barbara and Ernest Kelley; husband, Donald Ray Wallace and sister, Debbie Walters. She is survived by her stepchildren: Samantha Smith, Leigh Smith, Ammy (Terry) Sterling and Will Smith; granddaughter, Carrigan Sterling; sisters: Lynn (Stanley) Kilgore and Joyce (Tommy) Stubbs; brother-in-law, Tommy Walters and a host of nieces and nephews.
