Funeral service for Andrew “Ray” Stinson, 84, will be Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church at Oden Ridge with Rev. Phillip Robinson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. He will lie in state from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be at Oden Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Stinson died on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born March 13, 1929, in Morgan County to Lewis Stinson and Lois Allison Stinson. Mr. was preceded in death by his wife Gerry Stinson and one brother, Ronald Stinson.
Mr. Stinson was a lifetime member of Oden Ridge Baptist Church and the American Legion. He also served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Summerford Nursing Home for their special care. Survived by:
