Booter Skipworth
Andrew Monroe “Booter” Skipworth Sr., age 57, of Florence, Alabama, died, February 3, 2016. The visitation will be Friday, Feb. 5th from 5:00pm – until at Lighthouse Apostolic Church. The funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 6th at 1:00p.m. at the church. Bro. Paul Holloway will be officiating. Interment will be at Canaan Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Wood, Regie Wood, Daniel Wood, Ryan Webb, Jeremy Skipworth, Matthew Skipworth, and Cody Butler. Honorary pallbearer will be Jesse Gibson.
He was preceded in death by his father Ellis Skipworth and infant son, David Wood.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
He was survived by his loving wife of 34 years and best friend, Paula Skipworth; mother, Lizzie Skipworth; sons, Andrew Monroe “B.J.” Skipworth Jr. (Tosha) and Matthew Skipworth; daughter, Sabrina Price (Brad); sisters, Mary Wood (Sam), Nancy Wood (Buck), Sandra Gibson (James), Martha Whitten (Clifford), Peggy Webb (Randel), and Tina Hill (Billy), 3 grandchildren; Caitlyn, Ryleigh, and Shaylee.
