Andrew John Murdock, age 69, of Petersburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
Andy was born June 6, 1954, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late John William Murdock and Mary Sue Talley Murdock who survives. He was a Certified Industrial Electrician at Inter City Products and of the Christian faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Sue Talley Murdock; his wife of 37 years, Frances Scott Murdock; son, Andrew John Murdock, II; sisters, Susan Murdock, all of Petersburg, and Cindy Murdock (Randy McQuiston), Lewisburg; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Compassus Hospice, Columbia, for the excellent care given to their loved one.
Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Talley Cemetery in Petersburg, TN.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
