Ancle (Jimmy) Carroll – Obituary

Ancle (Jimmy) Carroll was born on December 21, 1936, the son of the late Harvey Carroll and Lottie Wilbanks Killingsworth. On December 11, 1959, he was united in marriage to Martha Ann Hamm, who survives. Jimmy departed this life on June 19, 2017, at the age of 80 years, 5 months, and 29 days.

Jimmy attended Gray’s Chapel Pentecostal Church. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. In the summer, Jimmy loved to sell watermelons and cantaloupes.

In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by his sons, Keith Carroll and wife Kay and Steven Carroll and wife Carolyn; a daughter, Melissa Bailey and companion Anthony Millner; a brother, Willard Killingsworth; a sister, Marie Bailey; grandchildren, Samantha Wood and husband Mark, Bryan Carroll and wife Courtney, Stephaine Hendrix and husband Adam, Ryan Bailey and wife Tiffany, Dylan Bailey, and Daniel Bailey; great grandchildren, Amber Hendrix and husband Jacup, Alicia Webster and husband Brad, Aubrey Mayo, Camden Carroll, Chloe Hendrix, Isabella Hendrix, Avery Bailey, Dalton Bailey, Maycee Lance, and Junior Lance; and great great grandchildren, Jadalyn Hendrix, Jaycee Hendrix, and Briley Webster.

Along with his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his breother, Homer Carroll, Haskell Carroll, Bob Carroll, and Junior Carroll, and a sister, Mary Riselvato.

The family of Ancle (Jimmy) Carroll would like to extend a special thanks to Unity Hospice and Jimmy’s favorite nurse, Jessica Timms.
