Amy Wilson Day, 70, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Amy was born on November 2, 1953, to Richard and Hazel Higgins Wilson in Pontotoc, MS.
Survivors include her husband, Mike; her children, Shane (Emily), Heath (Kim), and Paige (Davin); her 8 grandchildren, Savannah, Brady, Peyton, Corey, Charlie, Jude, Jolan, and Mallie; mother-in-law, Dot Day; her brothers, Leon, Lynn, Sam, Wiley, and Doug; and her sisters, Helen, Agnes, Elaine, and Betty.
Those preceding her in death are her parents, Richard and Hazel Higgins Wilson; grandparents, P.D. and Dora Wilson and Charlie and Beaulah Higgins; and her father-in-law, Charles Day.
Graveside Service will be 4PM Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Redland Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Sartin and Bro. Johnny Cook officiating.
Pallbearers will be Joe Harmon, David Foster, Buddy Crawford, Greg Vaughn, Jimmy Collums, Terry Sartin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dan Sisco, Jahu Blissard, and Jerry Horton.
