Amy Ruth Whitt Liveoak, 87, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Elk River Health & Nursing Center in Ardmore, Tennessee.
She was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1938, in Toney, Alabama to the late Mr. Selvin James Whitt and Mrs. Bessie Mae Gatlin Whitt.
Amy lived the majority of her life in Ardmore, Alabama. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Wooley Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Liveoak enjoyed spending time with her family and friends
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Felix “Lee” Liveoak, Jr. LTC. (Retired), one brother, James Whitt, one sister-in-law, Mary Whitt, as well as one brother-in-law Corney Rich.
She is survived by her son; Felix Lee (Dena) Liveoak III, three daughters: Pam (Jeff) Williams, Patricia (David) Leigh Davis, Margaret (Jeffery) Jane Matthews, two sisters: Janice Rich, Lori (Mack) Thomas, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Liveoak will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM (NOON). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, AL, beginning at 12:00 PM (Noon) with Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, located in Ardmore, AL.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
