Amy Lynn Gray (Hale) passed away at the age of 53, on November 9, 2024. She is preceded in death by her father, James David Hale; grandparents, Imogene Hale & Byron James Hale, and grandmother, Mattie Lou Wallace.
Amy is survived by her two sons, Brandon Gray (Bailey & Paisley) and Logan Gray (Kylie); her mother, Betty Carolyn Hale; sister, Emily Hale (Shane); niece, Haley Boothe (Logan); along with aunts, uncles and cousins. Also included as family would be her dog Dixie, whom she loved so deeply.
Amy was born on June 14, 1971, in Florence Alabama. She attended Central High School. In 2000 Amy had her first-born child. It was then she began to raise a family in Central Heights. After the nest was empty, she stayed in Central where she spent all her time with her best pal, Dixie, and keeping up all her beautiful flowers around her home. Amy was a beautiful, strong-willed woman who survived many triumphs in her lifetime, although she was a small woman she was mighty and fierce.
Amy will always be remembered and forever be missed by many.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
