Amy Gail Borden, 40, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Visitation will be Saturday, February 3, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Roland Hargrove officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Leighton.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, James Seymour; and her papa, Pete Houk.
She is survived by her devoted husband of fourteen years, Doug Borden; children, Conesa Frederick (Andrew), Austin Borden, Brittney Rupley (Tommy), Katelyn Terry, and Mercedes Fisher (Alex); mother, Kathy Campbell Houk (Danny Newman); sisters, Tracy Moore (Jessie) and Lena Ferraresi (Chris); grandchildren, Jaclyn, Marley, Noah, Kainen, Kylee, Stetson, Justice, Allison, Ada Jane, and Ivey; bonus daughter, Bentlee Terry; special niece and nephew, Kaylee Moore and John Allen Moore; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
