TUSCUMBIA-The American Legion Colbert County Memorial Post 31 will celebrate its 97th birthday at a dinner to be held on Monday, March 21st. The birthday dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Tuscumbia Church of Christ Annex located at 118 N. Main St in Tuscumbia. Members are requested to bring a covered dish or dessert and bring their spouse/friend. The Post will furnish the meat, bread and drinks. For more information, please call 256-577-6968.
The entertainment will be provided by Steve White and Jamey Copeland who are both singer/songwriters from the Shoals area. Jamey spent 35 years in radio and is a former studio owner. He is also an accomplished musician on several instruments. Steve has played with numerous bands, the last being the ’65 Mustang Band, appearing at the Helen Keller Festival for 5 years as a singer and guitarist. Please come and celebrate!
