Amanda “Ame” Leigh Hodge, age 42, of Brentwood, TN passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at her residence. She was a native of Nashville, TN, and of the Methodist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Cole Hodge; and her dog, “Toot-Toot”.
She is survived by her father, Joe Hodge of Brentwood, TN; sister, Kimberly Hodge Pinkston of Brentwood, TN; niece, Kathleen A. Pinkston of Brentwood, TN; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Alive Hospice, Ame’s wonderful physicians, and her entire medical team.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, September 07, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 08, 2018, with Rex McCafferty officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, VUMC Gift and Donor Services, 3322 West End Avenue, Suite 900, Nashville, TN 37203-1197.
