Amalia Yanes Wright, age 55, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, died Friday, March 31, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital.
She was born in Cadiz, Spain, to the late Gerald Austin and Amalia Llanes Austin who survives. She was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. She was especially proud of her daughters and thought her grandchildren “hung the moon.” They lovingly referred to her as “Nini” and treasured the fun times they spent with her. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and the beach.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Austin.
She is survived by her mother, Amalia Austin; daughters, Candice (Matthew) Bates of Fayetteville, and Chasity (William) Rowe of Petersburg; one brother, Glenn (Dawn) Austin of North Carolina; ten grandchildren: Caleb, Andrew, Olivia, Joslyn, Alyson, Felicity, Nolan, Analeigh, Alayna, and Asher.
Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091.
