Mr. Alvin D. Cornelison, 75, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 2 pm at Center Point Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Cornelison and Pastor David Moorman officiating. Burial will follow into Center Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at Center Point Baptist Church. Pallbearers are, Dakota Powell, Colby Powell, Jeff Arnold, Dennis Cornelison, Beaver Potterfield, Jason Cornelison, Tommy Cornelison, and honorary pallbearers, Jerry Cornelison and Grant Coulter.
He is survived by his son, Kerry Cornelison (Melanie); daughter, Trina Cornelison Powell (Stacy); bonus daughter, Tammy Coulter (Greg); grandchildren, Brooke Winkles, Dakota Powell, Tylyn Wright (Allen), Colby Powell, Grant Coulter, Ava Coulter, Baylie Hyatt (Mark), Kali Hollingsworth (Blake); twelve great grandchildren; brother, Jessie Earl Cornelison (Billie Ann); sister, Edna Hancock (Rev. Arnold Hancock), several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Cornelison, parents, Luther Cornelison and Sara Jane Brownfield Cornelison, brothers, Walter, Floyd, Dal, Eulish and Alton Cornelison and one sister, Lily Hollman.
