Alvie Roy Gurton, 69 of Athens, passed on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Gurton was born January 13, 1951 to James Gurton and Mary Lou Knox.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Vo; sister, Della Jones; brothers, Will Gurton and James Gurton.
Preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings.
Graveside services were held at Athens City Cemetery on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
