Alva Dell Smith Browder was born September 12, 1942 in Jackson, TN the daughter of the late John Henry and Angie Naomi Landreth Smith.
She was united in marriage to Roy Eugene Browder on October 28, 1961.
Mrs. Browder was a supervisor for TKC Apparel. She was a member of the Meeks Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and watching the Atlanta Braves.
Mrs. Browder departed this life on May 23, 2015 in at the age of 72 Years, 8 Months, 11 Days. She is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, Roy Eugene Browder of Michie, TN; two sons, Robert Earl Browder and wife Angie of Pocahontas, TN, Rex Eugene Browder of Michie, TN; two sisters, Betty Carol Palmer of Michie, TN, Janice Sue Cosby and husband Ronnie of Stantonville, TN; a brother, Billy Harold Smith and wife Ellen of Columbus, GA; five grandchildren, Justin Ray Browder of Cleveland, TN, Brenna Kaitlyn Browder of Pocahontas, TN, Madalyn Grace Browder of Pocahontas, TN, Leigh Ann Browder of Perryville, MO, Summer Mcihelle Browder of Michie, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Browder was preceded in death by a sister, Rheba Nell Browder; three brothers, John Wayne Smith, Dalton Theodore Smith, Thomas Neal Smith.
Services will be held on May 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee, with Johnny McMahan officiating. Burial will follow in the Stantonville Cemetery at Stantonville, Tennessee.
