Alton Roy Autrey, 70 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Friday, September 23, 2016, at his home.
Born Tuesday, January 9, 1946 in Thomasville, Alabama, he was the son of the late Earl Milford Autrey and the late Elsie Mae Ward Autrey. He was baptised Sweet Springs Baptist Church and was an auxillary member of the VFW of Decatur, AL. He loved to ride his trike and collect eagles. He was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
Surviving are his wife: Connie Marie Autrey of Ardmore, AL, his ex-wife: Nancy Autrey of Decatur, AL, son, Earl Autrey of Spokane, WA, daughter, Doreen Dodge of Decatur, AL, step-son: Bryan (Ashley) Clark of Ardmore, AL, brothers, George Autrey of Mead, WA and Neal (Pat) Autrey of Prescott, AR, sister, Jean Torrence of Judsonia, AR, and grandchildren: Samuel Wood, Sean Wood, Dahlia Autrey, Luis Clark, and Carina Clark.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Clalyton Allen officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
