Alton “Red” Haygood, 70, of Rogersville, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at his residence.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel with Jerry Marlow officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Gibson, Matthew Gibson, Dillon Thornton, Nathan Hostetler, Wesley Jones, James Richard and Sam Baldwin.
Mr. Haygood was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin & Jessie Haygood; wife, Sandra Haygood; siblings, Odell Bryant, Martha Gibson, Jane Word and Jimmy Haygood. He is survived by his twin sons, Ashley Alton Haygood and Alvin Shane Haygood; siblings, Emma Hargrove and Cynthia Haygood; numerous nieces and nephews.
