Funeral Service for Alton Gene Jones, age 85, of Cullman, will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Delbert Freeman officiating; burial at Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at his residence. He was born, December 26, 1938 to Luther and Jewell Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 52 years, Ollie Mae Jones; brothers, Jimmie Jones, Johnny Jones; and sister, Martha Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Frey; sons, Gene Jones, Jimmy Jones, Marty Jones, Terry Jones; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Rayburn Jones, Franklin Jones, Donald Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Alton loved spending time with family, fishing and Alabama football.
