Almost there! Florence-Lauderdale Tourism HQ opens soon

FLORENCE – It was announced this morning at the Florence-Lauderdale Tourism Board meeting that the new Headquarters Building in McFarland Park will be open for business in late May.

The project, plagued by inclement weather this winter, is running a few months past the projected opening date. But by next week, it was announced that Tourism personnel will begin the task of transferring from their old home in the Marriott Shoals Tower to their new digs. Everybody is excited.
