Alma Lee Southward, 79, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Fulton, MS to Noah and Ethel Lee Young. She was a beautiful lady who loved going to church and spending time with family and friends. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial services will be Sunday, February 12, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Rev. Marvie Marchbanks officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by three daughters, Lisa, Lacelia and Amy Southward; five grandchildren, Jasmine, Joyeria, Jovan, Isabela and Isaiah; eight great-grandchildren, Da’mon, Ra’Shaun, Nygeria, Zaylon, Zaki, Kaiden, Kaliya and Logan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, LeRoy Young, Rosa Mercer, Willie May and Katherine Brown.
