Alma Jean Westbrook, 92 of Sumiton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday April 11, 2024 at her residence.
She was a longtime faithful member of Sumiton Church of God. She was a former floral designer at Rosemont Florist in Sumiton.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Westbrook; daughter, Joyce Morgan; grandchildren, Sindy Dooley, Chelsey Holsted and Tyler Holsted and her siblings, Mae Ragsdale, Paul and Jim Coker and Ann Taylor.
Survivors include her children, Gary Westbrook and wife Brenda, Sandy Dooley and husband Michael, Donna Glenn and husband Ronnie, Anita Bray and husband Max and Jimi Westbrook and wife Karen; grandchildren, Kary, Matt, David, Justin, Brett, Reid, Jamie, Brandon, Phillip, Lauren, Michele, Laurie, Candace, Heather, Mandy, Lindsey, Kristen, Jeremy, Nichole, Jamie, Joshua, Mary Katherine, Jordan and Elijah; seventeen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchild; son in law, Paul Morgan; siblings, Joan Ellard (Bill) and Wanda Fowler (Melvin); brother-in-law, Aaron Taylor; sister-in-law, Jackie Coker; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Sunday April 14, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Sumiton Church of God. Rev. Lane Sargent and Rev. Phillip Walker will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm. at the church. Interment will be Monday April 15, 24 at 10:00 am at Morgan Cemetery in Sumiton.
