A special service was held on Saturday, July 29, 2024 at Mayfair Church of Christ to celebrate her life as she requested.

Just one of the many Bible verses that truly defined our precious Mother can be found in Proverbs 4:11, “I have taught you the way of wisdom; I have led you in the paths of uprightness.” That is indeed how she lived and taught us.

The family would especially like to acknowledge Alesha Lane, Cindy Smith, Carol Stinnett, Paulina Jackson and Lynn Creek for the care and the outpouring of love that each gave of themselves to Mother who felt so blessed to receive. She loved you ladies, and so do we.

Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Missions Ministries (Cape Town South Africa or Cuba) at Mayfair Church of Christ, 1095 Carl T. Jones Dr. Huntsville, AL 35802 or Childhaven at P.O Box 2070 Cullman, AL 35056-2070 or Memphis School of Preaching, 3950 Forest Hill Irene Rd. Memphis, TN 38125
