Alma Hawkins, 73, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at Darlington Oaks Community Hospice in Verona . She was born September 25, 1940 to the late Howard Coburn and the late Ollie Mayville Coburn in Arkansas. She worked at Lawhon Elementary School for many years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing, camping, listening to gospel music, cooking Sunday dinner for her family.
She is survived by 2 Sons, Ralph Hawkins of Mooreville, John (Tesha) Hawkins of Mooreville, 4 Daughters, Patty (Bill) Lawley of Beebranch, AR, Julia Contreras of Booneville, Alma (Buddy) Foote of Tupelo, Mae Hand of Tupelo, 21 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren, Brother, Orland (Mary) Coburn of Kizer, AR, Sister, Lonnia Williams of Pontiac, MI.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ralph Hawkins Sr., Father, Howard Coburn, Mother, Ollie Coburn, 2 Sons, Tommy Campbell, Michael Campbell, 2 Daughters, Ollie Bean, Faye Whaley, Great Grandson, Jessie Adams, Great granddaughter, Patricia Adams, 2 Sons-in-law, Manuel Contreras, Kenneth Hand, Brother in law, Don Williams, 2 Brothers, Les Coburn, Bill Coburn, 2 Sisters, Imagene Price, and Sue Williams.
