Allison Little Pounds, 40, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a lengthy illness. A Tupelo native and lifelong resident, she was born February 4, 1976 to Gerald Little and Barbara Little Dugger. She was a member of East Heights Baptist Church where she enjoyed participating in mission trips and singing in the choir. She also loved cooking and fishing.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Brown and Rev. Terry Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
She leaves behind her husband, James (Butter) Pounds of Tupelo; her mother, Barbara Dugger of Tupelo; 3 sisters, Sandy Broschinsky (Robert), Donya Smith and Susan Little; a brother, Marty Little (Sissy); her best friend, Tasha Parker Young; her godchildren, Jazmin Hall and C.J. Cunningham; sister-in-law, LaTonya Pounds; mother-in-law, Joann Pounds; her aunt, Daisy Blair; her favorite uncle, Dallas Blair Sr.; and her grandmother, Hosford Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents, T.E. and Norene Little; grandfather, Eugene Morgan, uncle, Kenny Morgan; and an aunt, Beverly White.
Pallbearers will be Greg Little, Ray Carroll, Eddie Pounds, Ira Gilliam and Alfred Lee.
Visitation will be 9 am to service time.
