Alline Rickard Kilburn – Obituary

Mrs. Alline Rickard Kilburn, 91, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at the home of her daughter.

The family will receive friends at Elkins Funeral Home Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. The graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Kenny Barfield will officiate.

Mrs. Kilburn was a graduate of Coffee High School and a member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ.

Mrs. Kilburn is survived by a daughter, Patricia Kilburn Fuller of Marietta, Ga.; and a son, Lance Kilburn and his wife, Katie, of Florence; grandchildren, Leslie Woods and husband, Shannon, of Danville, Ala., Teresa Sykes and husband, Derek, of Killen, and Amy Haddock and husband, Dennis, of Bell Buckle, Tenn.; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen Rickard of Florence and Herson Rickard of Vestavia Hills, Ala.; a siste,r Margaret Montaban of Mobile, Ala.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kilburn was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Earl Kilburn; brothers J.T., Blevie and Leon Rickard; and sisters, Catherine Jaynes and Earline Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Woods, Michael Woods, Dylan Woods, Derek Sykes, Matthew Sykes and Dennis Haddock. Honorary bearers will be Patrick and Tyler Haddock, Shannon Darby and Lindsey Sykes.

The family wishes to thank Janice Darby and Regency Hospice for the excellent care they gave to Mrs. Kilburn.
